About Us
Sentry Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking 1-2 PTA's to join our team in Roswell, NM. The current position is primarily for full-time outpatient orthopedics. However, we also offer the option to see home health patients. We schedule 1:1 provider:patient treatments.

Mentorship: A 24 week mentorship program is utilized for all new hires which focuses on treatment strategies for all post-op protocols, differential diagnosis, efficacy of outpatient diagnostics, and manual therapy. Mentorship continues beyond the 24 week program. Patient care collaboration is used by all clinicians, and veteran therapists are always available to assist with patient care.

Job Responsibilities

Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.

Administers treatment programs for patients.

Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining updating, and studying therapy histories.

Evaluates abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist’s interpretations of patient evaluations and test results.

Documents patient care services by charting in patient records.

Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
Qualifications

Eligible for New Mexico licensure as a Physical Therapy Assitant.

New grads welcome! Prior outpatient ortho experience is a plus.

Full-time availability (32+ hours per week required).

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred).
